he is pretty lively in there and his bill almost looks like its chattering like what we would do it we were cold. No idea if this means anything...any advice? Still dont know if I should assist further or wait. I guess I am curious as to how much time should go by without a yawn before it should be safe? right, but we werent talking umbilical, we were talking unabsorbed yolkWhat a friend taught me is to dip the umbilical in cornstarch so it drys up quickly and no bacteria gets in and it will heal very quickly....I had to do that the last hatch with one that blasted out of the shell and was bleeding....Keeping it moist does not allow it to heal fast....
