My almost three year old silkie hen used to be very fluffy and beautiful…she stopped laying eggs and little by little her head started losing feathers. She is very skinny and bony. I don’t know how to help her.

She's going into molt which is normal for this time of the year. Once they lose feathers and fluff, most of the time they look like skin and bones.
That’s what I thought at first…but the first time I noticed her changing was in July

Can you try getting her to eat by mixing some feed with water, a little plain yogurt, and some scrambled egg? Poultry NutriDrench or Poultry Cell 1 ml orally each day for several days may also give her a boost.

Has she been broody this year? Have you checked her over really well for lice and mites (best checked well after dark)? My Silkies always molt after being broody and now it's time for everyone's annual molt. I wish you the best with your beautiful hen ❤️

Heather is right, my 2 silkies would lay about 2 weeks and then go broody almost year round. They can lose a lot of weight. During molting, they may not eat that much. Hopefully, she will get built back up.
