I have no idea what these bumps are on some of my roosters can anyone tell me what it looks like? Never had this issue before

I noticed today when picking up one of my friendlier roosters that he had yellowish bumps on his comb and waddles I'm not sure if any of the others have the same thing going on or not but if anyone can tell me what this looks like I'd be very appreciative

Been there, done that, no one died. Fowl pox is ugly but there's really no way to avoid it; it's spread by mosquitoes, contact, sharing water and food, etc. If one gets it, they'll all get it. Some birds are resistant, others are asymptomatic or have minimal symptoms. Keep them fed, keep their water clean, and you'll stand the best chance for them coming through it without issues.

Fowl get it; my chickens and turkeys both got it. None of us folks or the dogs got it- it's fowl specific. Treat symptoms; if they get respiratory symptoms or gunky eyes, treat appropriately. For the pox themselves, you can dab them with bluecoat if they're picking at each other, or dab some Neosporin on them if the look raw.

It usually transmitted by biting insects, usually mosquito's. It's only a worry for the birds. When it's the dry form, it usually runs it's course with no real issues, just make sure they continue to eat and drink normally. The wet form can be more serious (and thankfully less common), with lesions in the beak and throat, and that can require more supportive care.

My little Joy, Easter Egger has now started laying her blue eggs. Today was her third! The other brown eggs belong to Sweetie, my Rock Barred.
