I have given up on hatching eggs with an incubator - I stink at it, and it's heartbreaking. Plus, it's a lot of $ for bad results. I ordered from Ideal this year - the first time I've ever ordered from a hatchery. I am happy with them. I looked at Mt. Healthy, but the minimum order is 25. I live in town, but I'm taking my first foray into meaties this year. DH and I are making a beautiful bench with potted plants, etc. - which will actually be a hidden chicken tractor! I'm hoping nobody notices it moving 6 feet each day! Ha ha! Anyway, the tractor will hold 15 meaties. I'll have to check into Mt. Healthy for the future, though.
