If I breed silkie male to cochin female,will all the chicks be dark skinned?Now if I reverse this cross,cochin male to silkie females,will all the chicks be dark skinned? I had read somewhere that if the female was silkie in a cross that one sex would be dark skinned and the other light skinned. Can't remember where I read it. Hope someone can shed some light on this for me. And one more question, I have never really kept silkies a lot,just on and off over the years. Now I am interested in breeding sizzles.My last question is this, What little time I have kept silkies, The silkie males have always been interested in all the hens(other breeds)But in my experience(other breed) males would not breed the silkie hens and would attack them. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks
