I have a WC khaki female and 2 golden laced, 2 buff bearded, and a golden/black and white cross ( papa was a WC khaki top hat and mama was a golden top hat) I LOVE MY POLISH- THANK YOU SIS... I wouldn't have them if it wasn't for her!!

she is ChickenLover Wi and the best sister anyone could ever ask for!! she went to a specialty breeder to get them for us!

I have to admit they are my favorites!!

I need conformation on gender for my 7 week old polish chick. I'm thinking female because of the shape of the crest but I have no experience with polish.




Here it is in a group shot. That's the best I could do for a body shot.


Sorry for picture quality. I was doing the pictures alone and had to handle chicks that didn't want to be held in one hand and the camera in the other. If I need better pictures let me know and i can get DH to help me this weekend.

That's what I was hoping! It's our only polish right now so I was really hoping for a pullet. This one has a special place too because the kids love it. It is the chick in my avatar that is riding the boat. She has been named Captain chick by my kids already. I definately have been hoping it was a girl so we get to keep it. I had been looking at all the pictures on this thread and was pretty sure by the crest shape it was a girl. Glad to hear someone else thinks girl too.

update... one of my older golden laced is most definitely a cockerel, lol
