They are very pretty, though.

Yea, it's like they were all born off white, then the girls stayed that color, and the boys developed into BLP's with no change.

Our 5 week old polish (our first and only polish chick). Any idea as to gender yet?

Also are polish known to trill? I hear the pretty sound from the brooder and it always stops when I get there.

The others in the brooder are buff bantam brahmas.
 
Yes they do trill. It's cute. That WCB is awful cute! It's a bit early to tell boy or girl. Generally, a boy is going to continue looking like a more narrow mohawk, and girl's poof will start to get wider.
