Love the first hen, am crazy about the color of that frizzle. Very nice.

She especially should carry on some good coloring and hopefully fix the male coloration issue in a couple generations I'd imagine. (line bred to her, which I know is risky)
agreed, I think the first hen (blue band) and the frizzle are the stars of the pen! I'm getting another roo that is younger soon and of course hoping that a couple of the grow outs are roos....
 
Some pictures of my Tolbunt flock - they are almost 7 months and have just started laying...well at least 2 of them! My interest is in improving the breed and will be working with some well respected breeders to do so.

I have 2 smooth hens (when got her crest all wet before the pictures!), 1 frizzle hen and the roo.


I've also got 8 grow-outs, about 2 1/2 months...can't wait to see how they develop!
