I have to talk POLISH!

I was trying, for several weeks, to find out the gender of my two Polish Bantams. They suddenly went through a growth spurt and it was finally easy to tell

Beldar is on the right (cockerel) and Primat is on the left( pullet) Although I was hoping to have two females, my little roo is such a beauty and is sweet as can be:) I just love them both

Yea, it's like one day you go outside and they look like boy and girl. Cute!

When does silver laced chicks get their lacing because mine's feathers are coming in completely black could it be I bought a black one. Either way it does make a difference. I just want to know

It's so true!! They seemed to have changed overnight:) My rooster, Beldar, is so adorable at bedtime. He waits for all of his ladies to get set in the coop and sits down in the run keeping guard

My husband and I usually have to pick him up and put him up with the girls. He is so sweet!

Heres my babies...Just from behavior alone(fights and bumps chests with my lil NN roo all the time) I would have to guess that my white crested chick is a roo...Too early to tell though

Broke Toe

The one below supposed to be SL but it just looks black to me(Jolene "Buff"& Ozzy "Black")

from the start, you should see the multiple colors coming in by a month old as the chick is feathering out well. Lacing gets more defined and nicer as they age, but you should be seeing more than just black on a silver laced by 5-8 weeks
