I have to talk POLISH!

1 Week...

Its amazing how this one has gone from a cute little fluff ball to a spike head. What do you think about the color. Pets not show birds...

Another spike head, I think this one may be WCB.

I got this one at the same time so either it is a bantam or younger. It has very pretty feathers coming in white with silver penciling.
You have some cuties there!

the first one looks like it could be a Black crested white (which would be awesome i want one so bad) also it could be a splash. the last one will be red

this is a pick of my red crested red when it was a chick

and now

OHHH... left one out. I think this is the boy of the bunch. The above 3 have tails and he still hasn't gotten any tail feathers.

...flying into the brooder. The little two got a lift.
looks like that last one might be a tolbunt if it is wow your are lucky i want one of those too. i don't see any thing yet that say roo to me though i could still be a hen

except for the white spot it looks a little like my gold laced chick did.

Thanks... I didn't know their ending color would chance from the color on their feathers they have on their wings. the very first is almost porcelain blue colored. the second has black and white wing feathers. They just didnt stand still for me to get a good picture of them like the other two. It will be interesting to see how they turn out.

everyone! I am super jealous of everyone's babes. I plan on getting others soon, already have 2 gold laced polish hens. I plan on making them a pen for themselves and getting another roo for them and couple more hens to go in there, I want to breed pure ones. I also love crele polish, what if I put some hens in the gold laced pen, will I get some funky looking birds? But I am still looking for what my other pen could be, I am torn between colors, I think what I want is a blue roo, wcb hens, blue hens, and silver laced hens. Will those colors breed pure if I put them in together?

Thanks, just love these polish!!!

I have some White Crested Black Polish chicks that are 3 to 4 weeks old. For some reason they are pecking three of the six in the back of the crest bald! They look like little Friar Tucks, oh my! I put some Blue Kote on there in an effort to dissuade the plucking. My son didn't know I had done that and looked into the brooder, and was like, "MOM! They are turning purple now!" LOL Anyway, they finished off the bottom of two of the crests, so they just have tiaras now. Ive heard that they can peck at each other, but how do I get it to stop?
