I have to talk POLISH!

Well I came home with two Silver Laced. I wasn't sure about the Buff does someone have a picture of a young Buff chick you can post? There was only supposed to be Polish in the broader and several of them had crest, beards, feathers on their legs and feet, and 5 toes. They had white skin so I got the girl to throw me one in on the house. I'm pretty sure it's a Sultan.

I tried to pick out pullets, but a pair would be fine too. I went after one and came back with two. One is light colored and the other dark. I can't wait to watch these babies grow up. No more chicks for me. ...yeah right I have 3 D'Annver eggs cooking in the battle and I haven't gotten my frizzle yet.

That's chicken math for you! We were only supposed to have 4... I have 10 outside, 12 inside, and 6 on the way.

I made the mash and also gave them the crumbs at the bottom of the bin that were broken down more. Didn't help the ones that lost their appetite. We dipped their beaks in the water and mixture multiple times and they would swallow what they picked up but just didn't go for it themselves. Hoping the next 6 are all healthy!

I've been hatching out a bunch of Bantam Buff Laced. Here's just a few pics ... one of my favorite frizzle so far. Their parents have excellent lacing.
