Hi fellow Polish lovers! I FINALLY got the Polish babies I have been waiting so long for and so glad I did. I also picked up silkies and a friend gave me 3 sizzles. They are the cutest little things and love to follow me around or perch on my legs and feet while out in the coop. They are just starting to really develop and I am already counting about 4 roos.I wont know what genders the silkies are for a while yet and I pray they all turn out to be pullets!![]()
Really hoping all the boys get along but I may need to move/sell some of them. Not sure I can because I am so attached!
Here is one of the "buff laced" at about 3 weeks.

I've been fooled by anything a Polish grows. I know some pullets I can pick out by behavior and stance, and silkies too. But it's not foolproof.Has anyone noticed if the girls feather out quicker than the boys in polish like they do in orpingtons, brahmas, etc?
No Joke I still think the Gold Laced I posted on here a while back that everyone said was a pullet is a roo. If they would stop plucking it bald would help.... I just got two silver laced and bought them as pullets we will see how well I did, but I did notice one of them standing awfully tall in the brooder this weekend, One of them is a more lighter silver and the other is dark. will they look different as adults? Both are getting laced feathers in so I know the are what I bought just different variances of color.I've been fooled by anything a Polish grows. I know some pullets I can pick out by behavior and stance, and silkies too. But it's not foolproof.
