LOL I spend a lot of time looking at mine stupidly trying to see something magically appear that will give me a hint! I have a confirmed polish pullet that is gorgeous. My silver laced is, I believe, a cockerel but no crowing. He acts and looks like a boy at 12 weeks though. My Orpingtons are an enigma. I cant figure them out at all! At least with the polish it is obvious if their feathers are pointed or not. The buff coloring makes them all look pointed to me!I spend a silly amount of time staring at mine, trying to figure them out. I have 3 of the silver laced, one is definitely a roo, he started crowing at 7 weeks. The other two, nothing so far.![]()
Same problem with the golden laced, I know one is a roo, one sure looks pullet, and one is an Igor. Traits of both hen and roo, hunch backed. Odd little bird. I'll take and post some pics, maybe I can get help too.
This is Sissy. On sunday she was lethargic and not eating or drinking. I brought her inside and forced her beak open to feed her yogurt and diluted apple cider by a syringe. The next day she still would not eat so I cleaned out her nostrils which looked stuffy and forced her to eat more as above. By the next day she was back with the flock behaving normal. I fell lucky to have been able to help her.
