Ok, I'm having a little problem with my frizzle baby "Ron". Ron's sister (Malfoy) thinks his feathers are a worm, and constantly picks at his feathers (doesn't pull them out). This doesn't seem to bother Ron, and he pretty much ignores it. About 3 days ago, Ron started picking at his own feathers.... now they sit together in a corner and pick. Is this going to be a problem in the future? It's kinda cute, but I worry about if they actually start pulling out feathers.......

Yep it happens...you saw the three little frizzles i had by themselves..most times feathers nite getting pulled but if they do i separate gore a bit..mine outgrow it...what are you feeding them?

Are they merely just "preening" each other? something kinda social with birds...cleaning each other...you said they do not pull the feathers out...

Only time i have had babies get feathers pulled is when a bunch in the brooder start on them....have seen adult hens pluck roos do they look like the have monk haircuts

They are on starter, it's not medicated, and I just started giving them scrambled eggs, but only a tiny bit to get them used to my "big bad hand" reaching into the brooder. Most times right now they just look at the eggs and freak.......... I'll keep an eye on them, right now I just couldn't believe he was doing it to himself

The silkies ignore the Polish most times.

I think it is preening, but I was mostly surprised Ron was doing it to himself lol! It goes on for about 20 minutes each time, usually "Malfoy" starts, then "Ron" sees him and starts doing it to himself
