Well, my Polish boy was suprised yesterday, me too. I never expected 10 chicks to arrive yesterday. I kept 2 and my gf took the rest, silver laced wyandottes. My boy just sat and watched them. He's never seen a chicken before. He's very nice to them. I am so happy he has company now. They were all eating together this morning.

i was shocked when i saw 2 eggs in their pen last night!! have them in temp and light controlled pen now...seems to be working...had 7 polish babies in hatcher when i woke up this morning...one of these days the wife is gonna strangle me!
 
I just found this thread! I love all of the pictures! This breed is sooooo cute - I want more. For now, I just have one. I am unsure of the age... seller said maybe 8 weeks.

I'm guessing it is a white crested blue. Is this a cockerel or pullet or still too young to tell?
