Ha ha ha! On the third picture (after wondering how in the world you kept such pretty plants) I thought Wow! What kind of plant is that...then I realized it was a polish...

My friends say, oh your chickens are destroying your flowers! I say, my chickens are my flowers! Julie.

Such pretty birds!!!! I have my first group of Polish chickens. I mainly got them for my Uncle so when he comes over he can admire them. He was so tickled to know their is such a thing as Polish chickens. He being a proud Polish man I had to get them. Here is a picture of them. I have no idea of the ages. Except the black rooster who is 4 1/2 mths old.

These are the 3 I picked up Sunday. Very hard to get a picture of them. They are afraid of everything and hide all day long.

This is the back of the roosters head. He is so pretty. I just cut off his 2+ inch spurs.

So? What do you think? I know the combs are very big which is not a good thing but otherise? The white crested Polish roo is a sweatheart. He will eat out of your hands so nicely. He was hand raised and fed.

Wow that roo is spectacular, the colours are amazing!

Thank you. Did you see the size of his spurs?! I cut them off today so he could walk better.
