I like him. He looks like my rooster who is 4 1/2 months old. Mine has a large V comb though. So I think you have a better rooster since you can't see his comb.

Hey guys! sorry i havent updated on my chicks in a while.

My two older polish are doing great also! Gilbert has become more reserved but still loves to say hi to us when we go out to the yard. Nancy is a riot though. she attacks my dog and then runs to us for approval! sheesh.

anyways, heres some pics of the birds at 1.5 mos. i sold the blue one and have decided to keep the red roo as his personality is pretty sweet. the white crested blacks i have no clue on their gender as their faces arent very red but their crests are getting huge! i think i have two for certain pullets though, a red and the splash.

enjoy! ill try to get some of gilbert and nanners later too

Because he is growing exactly the same as my last red roo. Also if you look at his body you can already see the dark neck hackle feathers coming in. The other red is much smaller and to me her crest is gowing in more like my girl polish, Nancy.

See the feather difference? ( I know not the best pics!)

I was wondering when I can start expecting my Polish girls to lay eggs? I have 2 pullets and 1 roo. They are supposedly the same age as my RIRs (who started laying 10 days ago) so would have hatched somewhere in late July. I am keen to let my broody RIR sit on some Polish eggs.
