Here is my silver laced girl.
I agree. SL is the most striking of all the colors

I also have 2 WC black hens, creole hen, WC blue frizzle hen, a sultan hen... I think that's it. Sometimes chx math gets me ;)

What color birds did you start with?
I am not sure what colors were used in creating the original project. I purchased birds from S&C Poultry in 2010. Doug Kamer started the project. The Polish Breeder Club calls this variety Crele. You can find some info about the Crele Project on the Polish Breeder Club's website. The Feather Site also has listed the name of this variety as “Crele" likely because that is how the club refers to them. Unfortunately, I have found that calling this variety “Crele” causes lots of confusion and debate because Crele Polish are not genetically true crele.

There has been a lot of discussion over the fact that this variety is not true crele with one individual publically calling it a Hodge Podge Breeding. People have a right to their “opinions” but as far as I am concerned this variety is stunning and I am more than willing to dedicate my time to work on it.

There are a few breeders working with "Crele Project" birds and you will see several different variations of the variety. I have decided to focus strictly on the orange barred laced pattern. I have been breeding Orange barred Laced to Orange Barred Laced for the past 4 generations. I still have recessive colors that were used in the original project pop up but the % of culls is reduced with each generation.

I had been calling my project Crele Laced, but that still seemed to still cause confusion since the word “Crele” was used in the name. I have since decided to refer to the project as “Orange Barred Laced” which most accurately describes the pattern and genetics of the project.

Can anyone tell me what the cross of a Silver Laced and a White Crested Blue would look like?

I don't know the answer to that- but- you have a white crested blue? I wanted one for a long time when I had the white crested blacks. I've sold them now, tho. Now, just need a buff laced hen!
