I have to talk POLISH!

Isn't he a majestic roo?! I wish I have one like that in my back yard!!

My hubby wishes he was in your backyard too. For some reason he does not like my hubby at all. He won't flat out attack him, he waits until his back is turned then bumps the back of his legs and runs. Usually to hide behind me. Not real brave, but smart enough to know I'll rescue him.

That is too funny!!!!

The first one really looks like it has roo hair, the second one has suspiciously spikey feathers in the crest too, but I don't see saddle feathers. How old are they?

Sorry, internet crapped out over the weekend. They are my April Fool's babies, so about 10 weeks old. The crest feathers on the first one go everywhere, the crest feathers on the second one make a much more rounded crest, which is what makes me think male and female, but as you said, I haven't noticed any saddle feathers yet.

I just happened to pick up a couple of polish chicks Sunday. I was buying some Sultan chickens and the person gave me a few eggs. She told me that there might be a polish egg in there and I asked if she had any chicks. My daughter has been wanting some Polish chickens for two years. Her birthday is next month so she got an early birthday gift and she's very excited. What age will we be able to tell what we have and can anyone tell me what color these chicks are. We are very new to Polish chickens.

White Crested Black. At 2-3 months of age you should be able to tell gender or post on here and some one can help you.

I have to say rooster. I have three 4 month olds and the rooster is the only one who has wattles at this point.
