I have to talk POLISH!

Pics
New to this thread. I have white crested black polish.

I also have some white bearded polish hens in with them. What do you think the mix of the white crested black roo w/ the white polish hens would look like?

Also, I have a young silver laced polish roo, and a splash polish roo as well (they are not in w/ my breeders). What would these two look like with the white hens or white crested black hens. Anyone know? I can only assume the splash roo w/ a white hen would work the same as it does with silkies. Any words of advice would be helpful. I am trying to figure out who to keep and who to sell.

Depends if they're dominant or recessive white.

Splash rooster x White Crested Black hens = 100% White Crested Blues

Splash rooster x Whites = depends again on the white, but they'll either blue all blue or all white

Silver roo x White Crested Black hens = WCB hens with lots of black, mostly black roosters with gold or silver leakage.

Seminolewind - Soooo cute!!! I'm excited for you and your chicks, and congrats!!

Thanks! I have had my polish for awhile but they are just now starting to lay so I am hatching some polish chicks for the first time. :) They are so cute w/ their little puffy cone heads.

So it sounds like the splash roo is worth keeping and the silver laced, not so much??????

Alright it's only day 3, but, I've candled my Polish eggs and have 70% fertility going at the moment. 14/20

However, it's only day 3

Illia, don't be too concerned about seeing anything at 3 days, (but you probably know this). I save myself the feeling of let down when I candle early, I do wait the 7 days to see positive growth. (but you probably know this)
