can anyone post a picture of a winning cockerel with the points that made him win? I don't know the standard for polish, and reading doesn't do anything for me.

Here's my guy. Hes a bantam and loves to crouch down low when hes handled, so hes not standing as tall as he does when left alone. He won best junior polish in december. That show didnt give out points and i never spoke directly with the judge. But he does weigh spot-on with the standard weight.

Polish breeders- does anyone know how long it would take to breed the white out of crests if I crossed White Crested Polish to another breed with crests that are same color as the bird's overall plumage? Or if it's even at all possible?

Any and all knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know.

Sand Hill Preservation has solid black Polish. If that is what you are after.

I still get white popping up in my Crele Laced Project offspring and I am on Gen 5. I do have chicks hatch without it, so it's possible, just not sure how many more gens it will rear its white head.
