I have to talk POLISH!

oh no! i sure hope not, cuz i already have 2 other males and i know 3 would be trouble.... this was taken on 'her' 3 week birthday, any chance it (hopfully) will change with age?

Oh boy this scares me, Dick has just sent me chicks today! I hope I have better luck. I didn't put all eggs in one basket...lol... I ordered 6 polish and 6 rocks. I hope at least one or two polish survive or my little girl will be devastated. Was the issue you had because there were other breeds picking on the polish?

I keep my polish separately
Also different age chicks
I noticed all chicks do best with less competition
too many specially when they get scared and trample all over each other is not good. Changing the water a few times a day adding vitamins frequently and always having food spread out they've done the best

one of my girls laid a extra large egg today

the one in the middle is the big on the one on the bottom is a normal one and the one on top is a bantam egg.

Oh boy how grateful I am I am came across your post. My brooder is huge so I can split it with a wire panel until they are bigger. You just saved me so much misery! Thanks again!!

they arrived safe and sound. He threw in two extra chicks. We got SF rocks and bantam rocks and five silver polish bantams. Dick did a good job ensuring safety on my batch. The bantams are all a week or so old and the SF rocks are just hatched so bantams didn't get squished. Two were very weak at first but perked right up with food and water. This pick of three of the polish. One is much darker than the others. Rooster?
