Thanks everyone, I have a feeling #1 is a roo and #2 a pullet but not sure since these are the first polish I have hatched. Here are the others, so far I am crossing my fingers and thinking & praying only chicks #1 and #4 are roos but its so hard to tell especially since they all look so similar and I keep mixing them up! Anyone got guesses on these others? Also what do people think about the type, any constructive criticism? Loving this thread everyone has such beautiful polish Chick 3 Chick 4 Chick 5

Hi everyone beautiful birds. I hatched my first polish babies 5 weeks ago. Have rough ideas on sexes but im not very experienced and would like your expert opinions. This is the first one. Im thinking roo maybe

Next there is this little un im hoping its a girl.

I think they both look like girls. Can't see any boy anywhere.

I'm in Modesto. I have LF Buff Laced polish chicks and Tolbunt chicks

I would love to get some bantam chicks or eggs from you, but I am overloaded with chicks right now! I was going to grab a couple of bantam hatchery Polish to break a couple of bantam broodies. I do have a several bantam buff laced, WC blue cuckoo and a WC chocolate cuckoo hens from private breeders. I am really in love with the dun and chocolate colors in poultry right now. As soon as I sell all of these extra chicks I have been having so much fun hatching I will check back in with you

That 2nd one looks interesting. I think my Crele thing is a wash as well. I may try to hatch a few next year. So far the 2 I hatched were from a Crele roo, and didn't pick up any of his pattern.

I've since sold the roo because of his attitude!
