Aww bless his little afro! Love it
The roos have all the nice colorful plumage while the hens are a bit subdued which is typical in most bird species. I have worked breeding them for 3 years.now and that has been consistent. In my F3 gen. the hens did pic up a little of the reddish color in pen feathering which was really nice. Am test hatching F4 s now but am actually happy with the last generation as they meet all the criteria the judges have told me was required for crele.
nope not mine the are loud and make my ears ring if im in the coup when all 3 crow at the same time, but mine are also almost a year old.Is it just mine or are Polish roos very quite. Mine are 6 months old and neither crow. As in "Never".
I think that most of the time only the dominat ones will crow i have 4 or 5 roo one silike im not sure about because it has never crowed and only 3 of them crow and the 3 one not as often but every once in a whle.Mine free range now and I do have 2 EE roos who are dominant, but they pretty much ignore these guys and the pullets that go with them. I just thought it odd I haven't heard anything out of them. My bantam the same age was crowing before he died.
