I have to talk POLISH!

Well something got into Einstein. I had tbe big dogs out of their runns exercising and I hear this racket behind me. Low and behold Mr Einstein has started crowing. At 7 months I was beginning to wonder if he and Liberace were mute. Now if his ladies would start laying. I have about six cockerels about the same age and he is the first to crow. I guess I have the late bloomers.

I have a gender question that I hope I can get answered without posting a picture (I clipped around his/hers eyes and he/she looks really goofy...I definitely need barber lessons). "Clown" is about 5 months old, has tiny little spur buds, doesn't crow or lay eggs, no long hackle feathers, no long tail feathers, has a few wide and rounded saddle feathers. The head feathers are not nice and rounded like the above posted hen....any guesses?

Since you don't want to post a pic yet, try to find some pics of other 5 month old polish roosters to see if your's looks similar. Sounds like a pullet by your description but it's so difficult to tell without a picture.

Ok, so here is a pick of him/her....NO LAUGHING! After looking at all the pretty birds on here I know s/he is pet quality only so I'm hoping for great eating eggs. :)
