I have to talk POLISH!

Darn I was hoping everyone would say that bird was a female because it looks just like mine that everyone says is also a male.

The CSU (Chicken State University) thread is focusing on Polish. Please come join us with pictures of your birds and comments on how they meet the Standard. While I have had Polish in the past, I do not have any now, but would still like to learn more about the breed.

Ok I need some advice please, I have a lemon pekin bantam rooster, a lavender pekin pullet, 2 cream legbars, 3 ex batts and 1 wc black polish, all chickens have lived in the chicken palace for about 4 months, I have never had to put any of them to bed, but the last 2 nights my polish has gone to bed on the chicken palace roof, I have had to climb up get her and put her to bed, I'm in the uk and we are into cold wet weather, anyone know why she has decided to sleep outside???????

Mine started doing this when some of the other chickens were picking on him when he tried to roost with the others.

My new polish keeps trying to escape her quarantine cage. Every time I open the gate she tries to just walk right on out. She is NOT afraid of me at all. Could this be a roo?
