i don't if you were asking me, all of mine are hatchery stock some don't have very good crests. but even if they did i wouldn't be cause that is what i love about them and i keep them penned up so nothing can kill them.

I'm going to trim my buff laced polish pullet's crest today. She has an eye infection.

I imagine it'd be the same as trimming any other feathers. As long as you don't cut a blood feather, it won't hurt them. I just trimmed all of the butt fluff of my cochin bantam pair yesterday to improve fertility. It didn't bother them at all.

I have some babies that are 2 1/2 weeks old and my main flock I will take pictures also later and post. I also have some to hatch out the 21st I will take pictures of them also.
