I have to talk POLISH!

Not sure. I'm not well versed in all the pretty colors. Maybe considered blue or lavender?

I looks like a blue polish that hasn't been back to black for a while, the black darkens the blue and creates a 'lacing' effect. I think I read that somewhere, can't recall where though.

Thanks guys! She's beautiful whatever her color. And quickly becoming a favorite!

I have never heard that about telling sex by the caps before. This is the only picture I have of mine, mixed in with Marans, at two weeks old. Any guesses? They are WCB

Does anyone have the knowledge on sexlink breeding Polish. Some breeds if you breed silver to gold the chicks will be sexlinked. I have a nice Silver Laced hen and have the chance to get a really nice Gold Laced Frizzle roo.

That is not a reliable way to sex them

I bred a SL roo to GL hens. For the first time (and probably the only time it will happen) I only hatched pullets. They were all SL, but according to the genetics calculator, all cockerels would/should have been GL.
