I have to talk POLISH!

Thanks, I've been working on these buffs for awhile now but they do still have awhile to go. I used to have some real nice silver laceds but lost that line. I'm working on getting a line of gold laceds going. Other than that the only other color of largefowl I have now is W.C. Cuckoo, here's one of the males I plan to breed this year:

OMG...I want one!

Here's my peep with attitude! (Day old LF Buff Laced) That's not a deformity of the head, some of its down didn't fluff up in the center. It's also setting on a slanted garbage can - nothing wrong with the legs - just trying to keep its balance.

Does any one know if the Cuckoo Polish in these pics is a boy or girl? It's the one on the left in all the pics.
I'm hoping for it to be a little boy so I could breed from him, they are all 3 weeks old.
If no one knows then what age will I be able to tell.

Too young to tell and not a Cuckoo Polish. Cuckoo is barred, as in, the bird needs barring.

The chick may have come from a cuckoo mating, but if the male in the broodpen had only one gene for the cuckoo markings then some would come out w.c. black - which is what this chick is. It will not produce cuckoos unless bred to a cuckoo

Those don't look like a cuckoos. Here are some cuckoo chicks in my brooder now: Here is their dad and another one of his sons:

No experience with them, but I'd personally call it chocolate, likely a like chocolate/dun (whatever you prefer) as khakis are more likely to simply be a very very washed out ivory barred color.
