I have to talk POLISH!

Here are some updated pics of the ex blue who has been crowing and "talking" to me daily. I'm pretty certain it's a boy.

Here is my little drama queen, haha she can't really see but she is super friendly. Shes about 4-5 months now.

She LOVES to perch. on arms, shoulders, whatever, you name it haha

Well we noticed shed get on the arm rests of chairs, and on our laps, then we put her or a low branch of a tree and she stayed for the picture. We took her down after incase she fell.

princessmalon On the Polish Breeders page and here on BYC it is recommended to cut the feathers in the front, especially around the eyes is recommended unless you intend to show your birds. If you show, there are other ideas for you on the Polish Breeders page. I shorten the feather on my Polish and Silkies since I like them to have the advantage of seeing and will not be going anywhere with them.

Your Buff Laced is a beauty ! I put mine up in the tree branch and they flew down but then they are still on the ground in the grow out pen with the Silkies.

Am I the only one that thinks this looks like a pullet? This is the one in the video right? So I heard it crow but if I hadn't, I'd have guessed pullet. I just don't see any boy feathers.

LOL, that's so cute! Funny how they seem to not be able to see but can jump up on stuff. I have a little 6 week old that has such a large crest, I found her running around trying to find her way back into the coop. Everyone was in but her....she'd run like crazy through the horse pasture, stop, tilt her head up and look around, take off running again, stop, look around....I was laughing so hard watching her find he way back!

This is the same blue as in the video and it would be wonderful if this is a pullet. I will try to take another video clip when s/he is talking and see if you all think it's a pullet sound vs a truer cockerel sound. On the silkie thread, there's been discussion that occasionally a pullet may crow when a rooster is not present in the flock.
