I have to talk POLISH!

Oh, Sarah ... you'll love the blue frizzled roo. His crest looks a lot like the crest of the pic you use in the avatar. How do I clean it? Looks like it may get in his water bowl and then attract dirt when he's pecking around. lol.

I got a very pretty girl yesterday. I have a lot of babies, won't be sure of the sex for a while,, but I know this one is a girl..and a sweet one at that!

Fun to watch. She is pretty close to laying. I hear the eggs
are usually a cream, or white color? My first grown up Polish.

Oh that's a never ending battle of keeping the crest clean. Some of the frizzle boys I have to use a pony tale (I use in my kids hair ties) to keep the crest out of his face. Or when they get real dirity I wash it. If it says dirity too long it stains it. It never ends!

It's been months since I hatched chicks. It the 1st time I'm using the EcoGlow 50 (I had the smaller one). I LOVE this heat source. It's so nice to not worry about the heat lamp catching on fire. They love going under it. Such a great investment!

I've looked at those, so it sounds like you are pretty happy with it, and it looks as though, so are the babies! They are cuties.

I am new to the polish breed and did order a book of standards (not here yet) but I have been curious since getting my polish: Do the roosters need a V Comb to be "show quality"? Can anyone tell me what a good quality polish looks like?
