What can you tell me about silver laced polish? Are they hard to breed to standard? Does the variety breed true? If not, what are the outcomes of breeding silver laced to silver laced. Also, what would the outcome be if a silver laced was bred to a WCBlack or a WCBlue?
I would love to see pics.

Has any one tried to cross polish w/ non moulters? I know they once tried to make it a breed, 'mop head' (if you see photos you'll see why, LOL), but I heard it got too hard on the birds. What does THAT mean?

Yes silver laced breeds true. silver laced to silver laced will get you silver laced. All of the laced varieties are harder to work with because getting clean lacing through the whole bird is not easy to do. WC Black to WC Blue will get you WC Black and WC Blue offspring. WC Blue to WC Blue will get you blue, and splash.

You would get some lacing but have too much white in the crest. HOWEVER, I was told by someone breeding polish for 30+ years to breed my SL that I got from him to my WC Black to improve crest size. Then breed back to the SL to get the lacing back up to par
