Oh the horror.

I just got 4 Merriam turkey eggs today and popped those in the incubator.

It's just. Not. Fair.

It will be here before you know it. Same with the holidays, they will be here that much closer too.

The wait IS the worst part!

I have turkey eggs in the incubator too, started putting them in on Sept 4 so first one goes into lockdown tomorrow. when we first started the weather here was so crazy that there was no way even in the cellar was it cool enough to store eggs so they went one by one into the bator as they were gathered. Thankfully I have a second bator for lockdown so will just shift them over to that one at the right time. I candled last night and so far 7 looking REALLY good and tossed 6 at 14 to 23 days that were no good and the girls are still producing fairly regularly so still adding new eggs. I am going to have a rather long drawn out hatch it looks like.
