I really want to know what the black duck is his name is Harley and I want him to be a runner :)
I have no Ideas on any of the chicks. A lot of the breeds look alike to me so it's to hard to say for sure this being the first time I have ever had ducks or chickens :) any help would be fantastic thank you :)

Okay, first chicks, top picture starting from the top:
Buff Brahma (it looks like the legs are feathered, if not, this isn't right)
Red Sex Link
Tiny Brown Chick I'm not sure of
Red Sex Link again
Barred Rock

And ducks! White one is a pekin, Harley is either a Cayuga or a black runner but I think by his age if he was a runner he'd be more upright by now. Could be wrong though, I've never had runners!

Thank you so much :) I was thinking red sex link on the two and yes the first one has feathered feet :) he or she is so cute:) the barred rock was the one I had no clue of and the little one, well I think they tricked me and slipped me a bird lol it's still tiny as ever and can fly across the yard lol :) they are all 6 weeks old is there anyway to tell if they are girls or boys yet?

As for the duck he is probably a Cayuga but I'm still voting for a black runner anyways :) lol
Thank you for your time and help I appreciate it :)

Glad to help! Your barred rock is a girl, I think. Males feather in with a lot more white. As for the others, look for legs that are really big compared to their body, and watch to see if their combs start to turn red and if their wattles start to come in and get red, as those are all signs of roosters. Your red sex links are girls as well.

Red and white birds: Red Sex Link pullets
Barred bird: Probably a Barred Rock pullet, though could also be a Cuckoo Marans.
Little Brownish bird: I think Black Breasted Red Old English Game Bantam pullet.
Buff and black bird: Buff Brahma
White duck: Pekin
Black Duck: Not sure, but leaning towards Cayuga.

In answer to your other question, yes, it is fine not to have a rooster. Hens will still lay eggs and act like normal chickens without a male nearby.

Oh thank you :) I looked up the Black Breasted Red Old English Game Bantam pullet and you were spot on, she defiantly looks like that's what she will be :) and now I see why her wings are so long for her lol they are even long when they are older lol:) however her name is Kyle Busch so I guess we will have to Chang that now that I know she is a girl lol :) thanks again

The black duck is not a runner. I got one in my Cackle surprise. Mine stands straight up and reminds me of a person whose arms are missing. You might have a Cayuga duck.
