Hey everyone it's been almost 24hrs since I've hurd a chrip from my eggy..... It still hasn't pepped yet should I be worried? It's still moving and chripping I just don't know what to do I know it's alive and moving in there.

For me I hatch tones of chicks when I go throw the incubator whatever is chipped but not out I usually slightly very genltly break the egg and leave it back and then get luck warm water and just ad 2 tiny drops around the egg
This is very dangerous and only has 50% chance of working successful if u know what I mean

It's a silkie baby and the only one that's chripping. Lock down is in another day so I started lock down early. I want to help it but don't want to help too soon and kill it, but if I don't help it might die as well.

I just lost my whole flock....a couple weeks ago these guys are what I have left of my old flock, and don't want to loose them as well. I checked them out yesterday I seen moment and checked air cells they all looked good and this little guy was chripping..... Lol

If it is in an incubator, just be patient. Chicks will start to chirp before they hatch. That is how the communicate with their mother. It could still be a day or two before they start to hatch. The one that is chirping might be an early hatch. You want to avoid helping the chick as much as possible. The more work that the chick does the stronger it will be.

If hasn't pipped yet then definitely don't help it. The chick might be able to break the egg and make a little progress.

My baby just hatched and we got 3 more coming..... XD
