I heard peeping from the incubator.......

And I ran over to see what emu egg had hatched,....... opened the lid..... and their were 6 Tuxedo Quail chicks looking up and me with new shiney eyes.

I forgot I tossed the eggs in there too. A little disappointed, but glad they hatched as I love the little buggers. They are about as far from an emu chick as I could get, hehe. Well wait and watch some more......

Emus, that's interesting. I always wondering about emus. They seem like they'd be a scary bird to have....like an ostrich. Are they friendly?

Im trying to get pics........ Had to poly tape three acres of pasture yesterday..... Still two more to go. Gps decided they wanna go across the way to a pond in the woods.
