I just made my account today, so I'm new to how this works. I have a 5 week old Toulouse gosling, and he was the biggest one out of the two I had gotten, but yet 3 weeks he couldn't walk or stand up out of nowhere so I immediately started him on some niacin, and made a vets appointment for the following day. The vet wasn't very useful at all all he said was it could be a number of things (deficiency, ect). I was supposed to get antibiotics and certain vitamin supplements from the vet, I had only received the antibiotics which aren't seeming to help, hes getting progressively worse. So I took it upon myself to start him on some brewers yeast but nothing is helping. One of his legs is completely deformed now. I'm not sure what could be wrong... hes such a sweet heart and deserves a chance

Welcome to BYC! Can you move this to the emergencies, diseases, injuries, and cures forum? More people will be able to help you there. Have you given him any vit. B complex? He might have a severely slipped tendon or something.

I havent given him any vital. B complex. But I have given him a niacin supplement, brewers yeast with garlic and the antibiotic from the vet. The vet had little to no information when I brought the gosling in, he said unlike dogs and cats there no tests they can run to figure it out

I think he has a slipped tendon or a genetic deformity. Did he hatch that way? Here's some info on slipped tendons.

Unfortunately, the longer slipped tendon goes untreated, the less chance of a positive outcome, but that's the first thing I would treat for.

Giving vitamin E 400iu with some boiled egg plus some B-complex can help deal with any neurological issue and strengthen the legs.

Lameness is one of the most difficult things to treat in chickens as it has so many causes that often defy nailing down. All you can do it treat and hope something makes a difference.

By the way, continue with the antibiotic until the course is completed as infection can be one cause of lameness.
