Very cool, I have a nest built on the top of my front porch light, guess I didn't get the hanging basket out soon enough. The last two years she has built in the hanging basket, the year before was on the porch light.

That is adorable! I put up bird feeders but we had to cut down our tree

last year. I've been thinking of putting up some bird houses in the front yard but haven't found anything I like or what type of bird I'd like to attract.

Currently I'm feeding....
6 yellow finches
2 purple finches
3 sparrows (even though one thinks he is a finch and hangs upside down to eat)
2 morning doves
1 red breasted robin

I'd love to have baby yellow finches but I don't know if they raise their young in Ohio. I know they are migratory. I'll have to do some research lol.

Don't forget to update us with some more pics if you can. We'd love to see the baby birds grow up....

Well......I rechecked the babies today and there are either 4 or 5....can't really tell.

They are so fricking cute!

That is fantastic, speaking of birds, day before yesterday I was grading a yard down in spencer county, and in the middle of it I found that (killbird) what ever her name is has a nest and four eggs in it, and she stands up protecting her eggs, thinking that my big Machine is coming to take them out, so I stoped and marked the nest with a big stick, all the yard got done, but 2 sq feet where the bird is nesting, the owner of the house was so pleased that I did save the bird and eggs

I am so glad too, because I crushed some before, but without notice

Oh they are so precious! We had eggies hatch in a nest a couple years ago. I went out there the last day to see them (again) & the last baby flew off. I actually cried!
