This summer we had a chick incubate in the fridge. Didn't know it until we cracked it open at about a week &1/2 old.

Oh, don't know how I missed the 3 legged chick. I wonder if I should even put them in the bator

. I was hoping my daughter could use the experiment for a report. Is it a bad idea to put them in?

Oh my. I am so glad I got my own chickens...now if they will all start laying!!

I still buy my eggs from a farmer so that helps me feel better. That story is soooo sad.

There is nothing too loose in trying. I hatched 6 out of 6 refrigerated pekin duck eggs over the summer. They were perfectly healthy. Give it a try.

Someone said their egg incubated in the frig..that cannot happen. It had to have already been incubated before it was placed in the frig as they need a certain temp to start the development process.
