I have a rare but NOT rare color beard and/or tuff-less EE...........so I guess it was supposed to be in the "rare breeds" bin LOL

This bird is not the OPs bird. Kellykate was showing pictures of her Golden Campine so she could see the difference. While the adults can look pretty similar, the chicks are very different looking.

KellyKate - did you KNOW that you have a Campine and were just showing it for comparison or did you think you have an EE. It surely looks like a Campine. It is not a GPH because they have a rosecomb.

The OPs pullet, and yes, it is a pullet, IS-no doubt in my mind- an EE.

The funny thing with getting those "rare and exotic" extra chicks, they are nothing else but FREE. I went through the same process with my first one "Is it a Buttercup? Is it a Campine? Oh, it MUST be one of those because it is a "rare" chick. NOT I got a Red Star and EE as my first two from a hatchery that were supposed to be "rare or exotic". Don't be fooled. If it is a pullet, it is a good thing, and if it is a male, then hope it gets big enough to eat. As for my free male, he turned out to be a gorgeous EE roo.

Looks just like an EE pullet I have too. One thing is certain you'll know when that first egg comes and two it's not a roo and three be glad it's not a roo.

Yes mine is a Campine and I KNEW it since day one when I ordered it as a Campine! I was showing OP pics of mine as a comparison because I thought that is what hers may be but... now looking at it it doesn't have a single comb so I was wrong. Sorry for the confusion --but when reading through the posts you will see I say mine is a Campine.
