So I have 8 hens and 20 pullets. The pullets were 15 wks yesterday. One of my pullets has 3-finger pelvic bones, her name is Belle and she is a black sexlink. Her comb and wattles are bigger but still pink. I was collecting the eggs when I thought I would go see if any of the new babies was being sneaky and laying where she wasn't supposed to. Sure enough, they had been! There were six eggs sitting there! Some small, some long, and some normal. Do you think it was the pullets or the hens?

Sounds like you have several pullets coming to point of lay. How many eggs per day are you getting in the hens normal nests? Unless they are old hens or a breed not know for faithful laying, you should be getting about 5 or 6 eggs per week per hen. If you're not getting about 8 per day from your hens, one or more of your hens may be playing "Hide the Eggs". If there are more than the number of hens, then the pullets are learning to use the Big Girl Nests. Best luck to you and your girls.
:pop:thumbsup

Have you been getting Fairy Eggs too? The small ones with no yolks? And Rubber Eggs? They have a membrane but no shell?
Are they red sex links? That's a pretty bird in your avatar!

Sounds absolutely like you have a pullet laying. Normal chickens that lay small eggs are almost aways pullets coming into production.
