Congratulations! I can tell your going to be a wonderful gram! I have my fourth child on the way and my parents, and my dh's, have been such disappointments as grandparents. They've never taken any interest in my children. Only my dh's mom and she isn't the type to babysit.

My kids are 3 1/2 and 2 and my MIL is going to start babysitting them every day so I can return to work full-time next week. She is my HERO and has really been a rock for my husband and I.

My tip: Start looking at garage sales for a pack-n-play aka playpen-- your new babe can sleep in it until s/he is 2 and you can fold it up and put it in the closet when not in use.

Ohhhh, congratulations!!! And how lucky is that baby to have a grandma who can't wait to babysit! I have six kids and I moved next door to my parents, the kids and the grandparents have the greatest relationship, its soo wonderful for my kids! (and my parents) Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats! I have 3 children and all the grandparents, even the great grandparents love to help out and babysit. They all have sleep overs and the kids love it! You are going to have so much fun!

My MIL is not into my boys, but my parents help out alot and really show them that they are loved. I think my oldest son would live with my parents if I let him.
