I just got ducklings, what do I do next

What are your temps currently, I'll let mine swim when it's around 60-70 degrees outside, just for a little bit, If you notice them huddling together or looking cold bring them in immediately, I wouldn't put them in a pond that has snappers either. If a duck isn't broody they will most likely not accept any of the babies. Depends on the weather, They can usually be put out around 6-8 weeks or once there adult feathers come in.
About 59-63. this week should be up to 80-85. would that be a good temp for them to swim outside? also, this is a man made pond.

You sound like your not real happy with this set up but these it’s guys can chill an die pretty easy. If you have a bath tub most of us let our little ones swim in there just make sure not to clean the tub with strong chemicals after they swim. I use white vinegar and water for cleaning. If you get some pics of your set up we maybe able make caring for them inside the garage easier.

Oh no i am happy with them. I just don't want to lose them. I guess we shouldn't be to attached to them in case if one of them gets taken by a predator. Out neighbor lost a 5 lbs duck from a owl.

Is it okay to use a short plastic bin instead? because we don't have a tub. only walk in showers.

Of course just always supervise and don’t let them chill. After bath right back under heat they’ll start preening it’s so cute watching them in water. Just start them off with it at the top of their legs. Your going to put them in a secure house over night? Once they are old enough to go outside for good.
