I just got my order confirmation from Ideal- YIPPEEE!! More chickens!

I get my chicks from Ideal. My last order of 20 was to be all pullets. I did end up with one Roo, a he that was supposed to be a she. Their guarantee is 90%.

Did you order from Ideal's website? I ask because I have been having major issues with it and I didn't know if someone else knew the secret to navigating the site, or if it's just messed up.
Every time I hit continue with checkout it goes straight back to the main page!

I'll probably just mail or fax my order, but I was curious if anyone else experienced problems

I placed my Ideal order last night.

I'm getting 25 surprise special pullets set to arrive on Feb 20. Can't wait to see what we get. Got a great mix from them in Sept, just got more packing peanut roos than I expected and now I need more hens to keep them happy.

I just ordered mine, too! We are getting Barred Rocks and Wyandottes! I am sort of disappointed because the local place doesn't get Buff Orpingtons, so I might just have to get them from MM...
We don't get them until MARCH OR APRIL!!! You guys are sooooo lucky!!!

PS I don't have any delusions that my chickens will look like the well-bred ones in my post above...I'm just hoping for an attractive approximation

Time to dust off the brooder and test the heat lamp

Should arrive in March. Please let me know how all of yours do! We're in So Cal so it cold for us (63 degrees today)

But not so much for chicks or the rest of the country. Hopefully we won't get a cold snap--it tends to stay pretty warm in the Southwest by then though.
