I Went To The Feed Store To get Some Partridge Silkie Chicks For A Friend, And I Saw Some 8-week old buff columbian wyandottes!!! they were $10 each, but as they weren't selling well, i got them for $6 each, 'cause i'm a regular customer! Awesome, huh?? So I have 2 questions, Can i put them on pullet ration yet? And Is there Anything I Should know, attitude wise, and are there are any special needs i should be aware of?

    Will post Pics Tomorrow.

Quote:Congrats on the new chicks. I'm not sure what you mean by "pullet rations" If you mean "layer" I think it's a little too early. Wait till they start laying. If you mean chick starter or grower or raiser I think you are OK.
Not sure about their temperment. You can check the breeds index here on BYC. Wyandottes are usually friendly, calm, and docile

    Imp- looking forward to pix
