I just had to call the cops!

I totally forgot about that, but when we had people on our property, that we didn't want there (drunken neighbor none the less), duck hunting, and it wasn't duck season either, we called the DNR. They were some of the best people we have ever had the pleasure of speaking to as well.

There is a bullet hole in my front window for that exact reason. Yeah. That guy doesn't hunt in people's yards anymore...

Don't cut him one millimeter of slack. He could have shot you if you were tending to the chickens. That's bull.

It is hunting season here. That's why I've seen about 2 dozen deer in 2 days on my lil 3acres. The hunters are running them out of the woods on into residential land and the road.

BUT there is no hunting season on MY property. The nerve of that a$$ for coming onto my property with a gun. What was he going to do if he killed it??? Come up my front yard to get the body??? No.

I can't do to much because he got away while I was looking for my phone and I just kinda think that he came from the house through the woods.

I was mad enough to. He better be careful of who he shoots at. If I was a crazy person he would be hurtin right now, I only have about 2 pistols, a shotgun, a rifle and about 5-6 working reenacting rifles in my house.

Edited: And from what I saw, I'm a better shot than him.

nut! I'd have called the game warden. Every hunter in his right mind is terrified of him. They do have a lot more power than the police or sherrif when it comes to issues of hunting & gun safety. I'd definitely do as SpeckledHen suggested and post No Trespassing signs at your fence line. Make sure they are in plain sight.
