We've been getting eggs since July and every day it is STILL exciting to find them in the nest box! I even go so far as to "thank" the girls when I collect them!

We just started getting eggs from one of ours 2 weeks ago and had the exact same feeling and we thank her every day when she gives us another. I keep thinking that once all six are laying it won't be such a big deal, but kind of glad to hear that it will!

When I bring them treats it sometimes sounds like one is saying thank you so I always say you're welcome.
