I may be wrong but I think the piece of wire on them goes into the nostrils. I thought I had sinus problems right now.​

Well there are a few kinds.The first picture uses the a piece of wire in the air holes. On the back of my Glasses there are 2 little points they clip into the air holes on the beak.
