I'm really looking forward to seeing Hancock - I like Wil Smith as an actor.

Before you bash Wild Wild West, don't forget such "wonderful" movies as "Nacho Libre" and "Borat". Two of the worst movies of all time, IMHO. But then, I recognize we all have different tastes.

And thank God for that.

I just looked up Hancock on the website "Rotten Tomatos", and found that it only gave the movie 36% (out of 100%). My DH likes Will Smith too. Has read interviews with him and thinks he's a man of good character. But even good guys get bad movie deals sometimes...

Just want to put it out there, Borat, Dumb and Dumber, Nacho Libre and ... (man I could make a long list) are horrible movies. Oh good example, Babel, this is a movie critics raved about - but believe me, it was awful. In fact on my website we called it "Banned By The Geneva Convention ".

That doesn't make Wild Wild West good

I hope no one takes me bashing movies personally, I make a very big hobby of it. I'm even working now on getting my & my partner's reviews on RottenTomatoes. Movies though are subjective just like any other art form.

Apparantly I treasure a lot of trash....

I guess I've never been a big movie fan. If I want to wrap my brain around something intelligent and though-provoking, I read a book. If I want to stare at the t.v., I want it to be mindless.
