This thread is just cracking me up! I don't usually get into these types of threads (just enjoy the belly laughs in the privacy of my living room) but I had to defend the Yorkie comment.

It was a joke! I saw that thread and laughed out loud at the Yorkie comment. It was funny because I knew it was a joke.

The hard part of an on-line forum is that people say something that is supposed to be funny but you can't see their face or body language so it may not be evident that it was supposed to be funny. That's when it's a good idea to use smiley faces.

I often have a strange sense of humor; I think laughing is one of the best medicines on earth so I try to find the 'funny' in things all the time.

As far as the topic of this thread (whatever that is now... I mean what it started out as)...

I thought I was wrong once... but I was mistaken.

First, on the common sense issue, if sense were so common, everyone would have it!

Second, here is one of my thoughts on ignorant people. There are people who are simply uneducated about a subject, like me on wine. Stupid people are unwilling to learn and grow about a subject. Smart people will do some research and find someone to answer questions . It's the stupid people I can't stand. I call them the people who will never buy a vowel, therefore, they will never get a clue.
